This year we reunited Paul, Miles & Einar for the first time since they all left school back in 1995. Adam and Neil also lost their BBT virginity this year, while Big Bob and Steve returned as regulars. This year we circumnavigated the Warwickshire Ring.covering a distance of 118 miles and 120 locks - the most challenging BBT to date! It seemed that the extra hard work required us to hit the pubs that little bit harder than usual, with the top shelf receiving most of the attention! The boys took advantage of the many apple trees along the canals and proceeded to launch the fruit towards the unsuspecting helmsman, causing chaos at the navigation end! Naturally, this resulted in a full-on war between the aft and bow of our battleship - an event that will forever be remembered as "The 7 Day War". After a heavy night on the beer, vodka, sambuca, jaeger and whisky - Paul decided it was time to redecorate the rear cabin. More precisely, Adam's bed and possibly a small section of his face too; much to his displeasure. Simultaneously, Einar found himself hanging over the side of the boat emptying his bowls into the Grand Union Canal. One of the most memorable nights out though was the Tuesday spent at the Newbold Crown. This was essentially Big Bob's leaving party as he was disembarking the next morning. After a good session, we convinced the landlord to lock us in, making it a private venue for us until the wee hours! We even got to serve our own drinks! Enjoy the photos below.
